JARED MAST

Owner and General Contractor

I did not grow up planning to own a construction company. I got into this industry because I needed a summer job while still in high school, and my brother needed help. What started as temporary work quickly turned into something more. I ended up working alongside my three older brothers, and they taught me probably 90% of what I know today. They pushed me to understand how things go together, why problems happen, and what separates work that lasts from work that only looks good for a few years. That foundation shapes how I approach every project at MasterBilt. Over the years, I have worked on a range of new builds, remodels, and structural projects. I passed the Kansas Class A General Builders Exam and hold Class A General Contractor licenses in multiple cities. Outside of work, my wife Sara and I have four children, and when I am not occupied with the business, you will find me taking Jeep rides with the family, riding bike, gardening, caring for our small goat herd, or volunteering through our local church. MasterBilt was built on faith, hard work, practical experience, and treating people fairly. We take projects seriously because we know we are working on the places people raise families and build their lives around.

OUR PROCESS

How We Work With You

From your first phone call to the final walkthrough, every step is designed to keep you informed, confident, and comfortable throughout the entire project

01

____________________________________

INITAL CONTACT

Most projects begin through our website, email, phone call, or text. We schedule a phone conversation to discuss project scope, budget expectations, and whether the project is a good fit. If it works for both sides, we schedule an on-site visit.

02

____________________________________

Site Visit and Project Discussion

During the site visit, we work to fully understand the scope of the project, your goals, and any non-negotiables that matter to you. We begin discussing layouts, materials, finishes, and product options. Our goal is to think ahead, identify possible challenges early, and avoid surprises later.

03

____________________________________

Estimating and Design

Once project details are gathered, we assemble pricing along with design details and product recommendations. Communication during this stage happens through email and text to maintain a clear, traceable record of decisions and changes.

04

____________________________________

Contract and Scheduling

Once details are finalized, contracts are signed and the initial deposit is collected. Projects are placed into our schedule. Final scheduling details are typically confirmed roughly one week in advance of project kickoff.

Construction Phase

During construction, we maintain communication and keep projects progressing efficiently. Clients are always welcome to visit the project site. We protect areas of the home not under construction and maintain clean job sites throughout the process.

Final Walkthrough and Follow-Up

For larger projects, we complete a final walkthrough to ensure all details have been completed to your satisfaction. We follow up to confirm satisfaction and address any final concerns. If issues arise after completion related to our work, we return to address them.
